Reims

Spent the day knitting my current fancy sock project, Reims. I'd won a copy of Sock Club (the book in which this pattern appears) several months ago, and this is the first sock I'm knitting from it.

The yarn is an interesting mix I bought at Rhinebeck. It's called Footprints, and is sold with one large skein of a main color plus a small skein to use for the heels and toes. Love this color combination quite a bit! It's very regal and Reims-like.

I'd have finished it, but was suddenly overcome with sleepiness. And so, Mittens and I are going to call it a night and curl up beneath the down comforter.
